It had been revealed that several celebrities were being investigated for possibly taking part in illegal online sports gambling. Joining the list of Lee Soo Geun, Tak Jae Hoon, and Tony An is Andy, who revealed that he had also been suspected of illegal gambling and examined by the prosecution.

His agency, TOP Media, revealed, "It is true he has been examined by prosecution. The summons investigation took place last month and we are currently waiting for the results on whether he'd be charged with gambling.
After the results come out, we plan on concretely discussing his future positions in the shows he is in at the moment."
One of his shows, JTBC's 'Shinhwa Broadcast,' said, "First, we must figure out the truth in relation to the illegal gambling suspicion. If it is confirmed, it will probably be decided to edit the footage filmed last week."
