It was previously revealed that Lee Bum Soo and YoonA were in talks of being the leads for the new KBS 2TV drama 'Prime Minister and I.'  It has finally been confirmed that the two of them will indeed be a part of the official cast.

The drama will be about a prime minister's love story with a young female reporter who wants to gather news about him.  YoonA will be playing the twenty-eight-year-old female reporter while Lee Bum Soo will be playing the forty-year-old prime minister, Choi Yeon So.

It was revealed that the storyline would be similar to 'The Sound of Music' in that the prime minister will be dealing with a woman who enters his household as a private tutor.  However, the production team and writers are still in the middle of drawing out their entire story.  It will be a romance comedy about a relationship between a man in his forties and a woman in her twenties. 

A rep stated, "YoonA and Lee Bum Soo will start filming near the end of October.  While in real life, Lee Bum Soo is 43 and YoonA is 23 so there is actually a twenty year age gap between the male and female leads, we are anticipating a new chemistry.  In addition, this will be an important time to observe YoonA's transformation as an actress."
