Lee Jin of Fin.K.L fame has grabbed the role of main female lead in a drama for the first time since her acting debut! MBC's new drama 'Radiant Romance' (working title) will be replacing 'Aurora Princess', and Lee Jin has been cast as the female protagonist.
The drama centers on two unrelated families' process of achieving success and love. Lee Jin will be playing Oh Bit Na (play on "radiant"), who valiantly lives life with a positive mindset even after going through a ridiculous divorce with her husband in the drama. In the midst of a custody fight with her ex-husband for their daughter, she meets love interest Kang Ha Joon with whom she falls in love, but cannot be with due to a situation originating from their parents' generation. The romance follows the thorny path of a modern 'Romeo and Juliet'.
The first episode will broadcast after 'Aurora Princess' sometime between the end of December and the beginning of next January. Stay tuned for more information!
