At the YouTube Pulse event, where SM Entertainment received a 'YouTube Partner Gold Play' trophy for their SM Town channel, YG Entertainment received three of them for the official channels of Psy, Big Bang, and 2NE1.

This trophy is given to YouTube partner channels that have over 1 million subscribers. Currently, Psy has about 6.5 million, Big Bang has over 2 million, and 2NE1 has almost 1.8 million subscribers. Across all the YG Entertainment YouTube channels, there's approximately 13.3 million subscribers in all.
YG Entertainment is not only known for their impressive use of YouTube but also for their general use of all social media.
