Earlier today, rumors sprouted up that Lee Hyori had postponed her wedding ceremony and that her acquaintances received cancellation notices regarding her original September wedding date. However, Hyori stepped up to directly clarify the matter through Twitter revealing that she and Lee Sang Soon never planned on having an actual ceremony.

The diva wrote, "Starting this morning, news articles about my wedding being postponed came out.. There's probably a lot of people who are concerned about what is going on~^^ From the start, we never planned to hold a glamorous wedding ceremony. We planned to enjoy a meal with our parents and family members and make that arranged meeting between our families as our wedding."

"Ever since a long time ago, I've always wanted to have a small and quiet wedding and Sang Soon oppa and our families agreed, so we decided to marry without a ceremony~ Because it is an important day that I hope would happen only once in my life(^^), I want to spend it as a meaningful time with my oppa and family.

"To the many acquaintances who would've come to congratulate us if we held a wedding ceremony... because I wasn't able to thank each of you before, I'm doing so here~~ I will live well~^^ ~~^^"
