Seo In Young coolly admitted that she of course considers Lee Hyori as her rival, and also revealed that she herself was also planning for the 'monochrome' concept (the title and concept of Hyori's latest album).

On the June 4th broadcast of KBS 2TV's '1 vs. 100', Seo In Young shared, "I have a very competitive spirit. With anything I do, once I start it, I have the personality type that has to fight until the end, showing my competitive side."

However, despite her competitive nature, it seems Lee Hyori's presence did pose quite a challenge for Seo In Young as she confessed she ended up changing a few things about her comeback.

"The concept for this album was changed on the surface because of Lee Hyori. The concept for my new album was monochrome but Lee Hyori came out with a monochrome concept first so I was left with no choice but to completely change it."

"Although it's true that I do watch out for my rival Lee Hyori, but because our genres of music are different, I think I can fairly compete with her, so I am nervous and excited," she said as she wrapped up the topic.
