Rainbow's Jaekyung revealed that the road to stardom wasn't always filled with 'sunshine' as her parents, like many in many idols' case, were not supportive of her dreams in the beginning

On the June 7th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Full House', MC Lee Kyung Kyu asked, "How was your parents' response after you started to gain popularity as a singer?"

Jaekyung shared, "To be honest, during my trainee days, my parents' opposition to the idea was so strong. It was even to the point where they tried to block me from going out."

"But now, they support me like they're my biggest fans. If we release a new single, they gift their friends with the song as a ringtone. They even learned how to use the computer so they could monitor my performances."
