Psy cancels concert in Indonesia

Psy's concert in Indonesia planned for this July has been canceled.


The global sensation was scheduled to have a concert on July 6 at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, where popular Indonesian singers would have joined him. The concert was in celebration of the 40th 'Korea-Indonesia Friendship Year'.


The event is reported to have been canceled due to the forest fires on the island of Sumatra. Another reason cited is the fact that Psy's concert would have overlapped with the Muslim holiday of Ramadan.


In related news, the 'M! Countdown - Indonesia' special has also been canceled.
