Yoo Ah In lost 15 pounds while filming 'Jang Ok Jung'

Yoo Ah In revealed that he has actually lost quite a bit of weight due to the hardship of his latest project.

The handsome actor revealed that he lost 7kg (approximately 15.4 lbs) playing his royal role on SBS' Monday-Tuesday drama, 'Jang Ok Jung'. Yoo Ah In is playing the lead role of Crown Prince Lee Soon alongside Kim Tae Hee, who plays the titular character Jang Ok Jung.

The actor shared during the press conference for the historical drama, "Everyone gets worn out when shooting a drama, and for me, I lost 7kg. I lost a lot of weight, but I don't think it shows on screen."

In regards to the lacking ratings, he commented optimistically, "I heard the viewer ratings are rising, but it's difficult to say that it's out of this world. There are dedicated viewers, which means something. I want to use the time left to appeal more to the public. I believe the beginning of the drama was just to lay down the foundation for another side of Jang Ok Jung. In the future, [we] plan to create a convincing story on top of that solid foundation."
