PD Kim Young Hee revealed that the reason he was going to be officiating Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won's wedding ceremony was because of the bride-to-be's appearance on�MBC's�'I Am a Singer'.
He revealed, "I'm going to be officiating Baek Ji Young's ceremony. It came about after I met her in 2011 when I was directing 'I Am a Singer'." Kim Young Hee was the original PD of 'I Am a Singer', and Baek Ji Young appeared as one of the first contestants on the show. He revealed, "When we were preparing 'I Am a Singer', it was hard to [get singers to agree to appear]. When I asked her to join, she kept thinking about it. In the end, she told me, 'I don't know when I'll get married, but officiate my ceremony when I do,' so I said okay right away."
He also confessed, "I've actually never met Jung Suk Won. But apparently the bride, the groom, and the officiator are supposed to eat before the wedding, so we're going to be meeting mid-May."
Baek Ji Young and actor Jung Suk Won will be tying the knot on June 2nd KST.
