Tiger JK talked about the severity of his myelitis.
In an interview with SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment', the subject of his infection was brought up and he said, "To be honest, I can only move after I take medicine."
However, he reassured his fans by saying, "Everyone misunderstands. They say I'm sick... But I'm overdoing things on purpose. I'm not as laid back / quiet as before. Jordan likes that, but Mi Rae gets stressed from that sometimes."
Myelitis involves the infection or the inflammation of the of spinal cord. It causes muscle weakness or paralysis starting with the legs, and can cause difficulty moving or even sitting up. Currently, no cure exists for myelitis, but patients can take medication like Tiger JK does to temporarily manage the symptoms.
