Juniel's performance at MIDEM got her noticed.
The rookie soloist appeared at the 'MIDEM Happy Hour' party. The 'MIDEM Happy Hour' party is a VIP-only party that opens before the MIDEM festival. She performed songs such as "Ready Go", "Bad Man", "Boy", and "Illa Illa" in front of audience members from all over the world. Out of the four songs, Juniel composed the songs "Ready Go" and "Boy" herself.
It is the first time in history that a rookie who debuted less than 6 months ago stood on an internationally acclaimed stage. However, Juniel showed no anxiety as she performed, showing off all her talents. After her performance, many experts showered her with praise.
Swiss producer Pernilla Svanstrom commented, "She sang better than I expected, and she has talent. I was surprised." Finish composer Teemu Lillrank also said, "Her singing ability is great, and she's so cute and pretty that I want to write a song for her myself. She's charming." American producer Ron Thaler shared, "She's a young artists who has talent, and I would like to work with her."
