The�2012 allkpop awards presented by NAVER BAND was allkpop's biggest awards to date. With 12 different categories and 74 different nominees, the 2012 allkpop awards brought in over�8.6 million votes!

As we wait for the results to be announced on January 31st, we thought it'd be nice to revisit �just who was nominated, and why they were chosen as some descriptions have been updated since the beginning of the awards with the year wrapping up and new events coming to light. During the month of January we will be taking a look back on each category so make sure to keep checking back!

So let's take a look back on the nominations and why they were nominated in the following two categories:�Best Producer and�Best Female Solo.
