Ever since Busker Busker declared they were on hiatus this past summer, there have been rumors of discord among the group's members.
Their decision to turn down the offer to appear at the 'Mnet Asian Music Awards' ('MAMA') this year has further fueled speculation on the matter. The Busker Busker members are reported to have gone incognito since Brad's wedding this past August.
However, CJ E&M stated on the 8th: "[There's no trouble among the members]. It's just that they're currently taking a hiatus from promotions." 'Superstar K' judge Lee Seung Chul commented, "As it was a place for them to get close to their fans, they should've [accepted the offer to appear]."
Though Busker Busker's contract with CJ E&M ended in June this year, it appears there are no solid plans for the trio to sign with another agency.
One insider stated, "After trying to work with a certain producer, they didn't go forward with the project. It seems that rather than which agency to join, they're more focused on doing things in their own style."
