MBC has announced a shift in its programming for Sunday evening. Starting next week, two of its Sunday variety programs - 'I Am a Singer 2' and 'God of Victory' will be switching time slots, with the former starting at 5:00 PM and the latter beginning at around 6:25 PM.
This change would pit 'I Am a Singer' against SBS's 'Laws of the Jungle 2' and KBS's 'Qualifications of Men', and 'God of Victory' against SBS's 'Running Man' and KBS's '1 Night 2 Days Season 2'.
The reasoning behind this switch is likely attributed to falling ratings for both of its programs. Although launched with great fanfare, 'I Am a Singer 2' has not been able to live up to its predecessor, being beaten out every week by its stronger competitors, 'Running Man' and '1 Night 2 Days Season 2'.
Meanwhile, 'God of Victory' has been cursed with low ratings from the very beginning.
