CJ E&M will be opening a pop music academy with Kim Bum Soo and Ivy's label Ilkwang Polaris Entertainment.
The two companies have opened a collaborative corporate body, 'Polaris MNet', to open a pop music education institution called 'M Academy'. CJ E&M stated, "As a multi-entertainment industry, we realized the necessity of fostering basic skills." Ilkwang Polaris Entertainment also added, "We've been considering fostering cultural talent for a while as we've been running a culture-education-social welfare foundation."
Kim Bum Soo will be acting as the vice president of the newly founded academy.
