In recognition of the World Health Organization's World Suicide Prevention Day, singer/entertainer Solbi made a statement that has caught the attention of many.
On the 10th, Solbi stated on her Twitter, "The words 'I want to die' are more urgent than the words 'Please save me'... Some even say people speak of suicide 'in order to live'. Suicide... is a dangerous fantasy filled with one's desire to live."
She continued, "Rest does not come after death. Pull it together and break away from this illusion! There is no place more beautiful than this life."
The singer also revealed, "Today, I went to receive therapy again... Even just a year ago, I thought a lot of bad things when things got difficult. But when I think about myself one year ago, it all seems trivial. The hardships are nothing after a year has passed ^^ Think of how you'll laugh about it a year from today and try not to be too upset now ^^."
Netizens responded to Solbi's statement saying, "Solbi is awesome," "I hope the people contemplating suicide read Solbi's words and gain some courage," and "Please continue your activities, and give support to those in need."
Meanwhile, Solbi is currently promoting her song 'Ottoogi'.
