miss A member Suzy will be supporting her drama, KBS's 'Big', by singing a track for its OST.
Although it has been previously announced that Suzy's co-actor, Gong Yoo, will also be singing for the drama, it seems that the young idol will be releasing her single first. Through her OST song, Suzy will aim to bring her character Jang Mari's feelings to life. As 'Big' is approaching the latter, and thus more serious, half of its episodes, the song is said to be a calm ballad as opposed to a cheerful and bouncy dance number.
On July 11th, representatives of 'Big' told Star News, "We believe that the song will [give viewers] a glimpse of Suzy's current drama character Mari's true feelings, [as well as] play a role in raising [viewers'] interest in the drama."
After listening to Suzy's previous drama single releases, such as "Winter Child" from KBS's 'Dream High' and "So Many Tears" from MBC's 'I'm a Flower, Too', fans anticipate her next OST song for 'Big'. As of now, however, the date of Suzy's single release has yet to be announced.
