Back in April, we announced that Bobby Kim was planning on releasing a special album. It seems the singer is in the final stages of preparing for his comeback as more details on the album have been revealed.
The special album, entitled 'OLD & NEW', will consist of six songs that are remakes of popular past hits by other artists. It was recorded in an American studio, and according to rumors, it's been produced by several musicians and recording engineers who have taken the time to ensure its high quality of music.
'OLD & NEW' will consist of remakes, including Cho Young Pil's "Reunion in Memories", Sanulim's "Reflection", OST tracks "Only You" from MBC's 'Friend' and "As If a Year Was a Day" from SBS' 'War of Money', Yoon Mi Rae's "As Time Goes By", and Jo Duk Bae's song, "In a Dream".
This is the second time Bobby Kim is announcing the release of a special album. His first special album was released in January 2009. It featured songs such as "That Thing, Love" and "Mama", and drew a lot of public interest.
'OLD & NEW' will be released online on June 15th, followed by the offline release in mid-July. The singer will then return to the stage with a tour, which is taking place from June 28th through July 1st.
