Hallyu star Jang Geun Suk was recently spotted in a secondary school year Japanese textbook by a Japanese netizen who uploaded the screenshots onto Twitter.

The section introduced the star stating, 'Oversea star active in Japan', along with a photo of the star grinning brightly. The chapter content from the 3rd year secondary school textbook discussed international trading in globalization and cultural exchange.

Jang Geun Suk was also spotted in a 1st year secondary school Japanese textbook for English classes. However, this time, the star was listed next to a few other well-known global stars such as Emma Watson and Lady Gaga.

Jang Geun Suk has not only appeared in educational material, but also appeared in numerous comic books and anime as well, proving his rising popularity in Japan.
