Boom recently opened up about his family for the first time on television.
On the May 4th episode of SBS' 'GO Show', Boom shared, "I've never talked about my home life in public before."
He went on to reveal, "I've never spoken of my parents either. Right after my father graduated, he was admitted into a company, and has been working there for the past 30 years. Meanwhile, my mom has been a housewife."
Boom trailed off towards the end of his sentence, "I was raised in a normal middle class household, but was also pretty wealthy in that..."
After hearing this, all of the MCs were impressed at the dedication of Boom's father.
Other guests featured on this episode were comedians HaHa, Kim Jun Ho, and Kim Jun Hyun.
