Super Junior's leader, Leeteuk, showed his respect for Shinhwa, and his hope to follow in their footsteps.
Earlier, Leeteuk tweeted, "Shinhwa hyungnim! ^^ You guys are so awesome. We will also care for our members and love them! Be nervous! Super Junior is catching up to you guys! ^^"
This seems to come after the news of Eric revealing that he rejected an offer of a hefty sum to keep Shinhwa, the longest running idol group to date with a 14 year history, together. Although Super Junior hasn't been around as long, they have also bypassed the critical five year period without breaking up due to their loyalty and friendship with one another.
After seeing Leeteuk's tweet, the fans showed their support by saying, "I hope Super Junior will last as long as Shinhwa","We'll cheer you guys on! Hope you guys last really long..", and "Please be like Shinhwa~"
