'Immortal Song 2' to release digital songs next year

Previously,�KBS's 'Immortal Song 2' announced that they would not be releasing the covers sung on their show as digital singles. It looks like they've changed their minds, however, as the covers will indeed be available for purchase next year. On December 21st, PD Go Min Jae stated, "'Immortal Song 2' started off as a show for idol singers. People were also of the opinion that the domination made by shows like 'I Am a Singer' and 'Infinity Challenge' were a disturbance to the natural flow of the music charts. Those were all concerns to us, but recently, the line-up of our show has changed to include middle-aged artists as well. Viewers have been making a lot of requests for digital releases, and we've decided to take them into consideration." He continued, "Departing from the popularity of the program, I personally love and enjoy the songs and lyrics of the hit songs of the past. People these days, however, aren't aware of them.
