Korean programs nominated for the 2011 International Emmy Awards

Korea has received two nominations for the upcoming 2011 International Emmy Awards. Actor Jang Hyuk has received a nomination in the Best Performance by an Actor category for his work in the KBS drama "Chuno" ("The Slave Hunters"). Jang Hyuk will be going up against Brazil's Fábio Assunção, the United Kingdom's Christopher Eccleston, and Sweden's Michael Nyqvist. The second nomination went to the comedian trio (Kim Byung Man, Noh Woo Jin, and Ryu Dam) on KBS's "The Master Show" for the Non-scripted Entertainment category. Other programs in the category are Mexico's "La Expedicion - Mas alla de lo imposible", Spain's "El Hormiguero" and the United Kingdom's "The World's Strictest Parents".
