2AM become ambassadors for '2012 World Conservation Congress'

2AM is out to save Earth! On August 31st, a representative of the World Conservation Congress revealed that male group 2AM were appointed as ambassadors for the '2012 World Conservation Congress' (2012 WCC) which will be held in Jeju island next year. The World Conservation Congress is an environmental meeting held every four years by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN); it's so large that it's been nicknamed as the "Environmental Olympics". The 2012 WCC will be run for ten days at the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju)�from September 6th to the 15th. For their first official event as WCC ambassadors, 2AM will perform at the National Museum of Korea for the 'WCC 2012 D-365 Commemoration Event' in Yongsan, Seoul on September 3rd. Also, 2AM has plans to sing a campaign song in hopes that the WCC will hold a successful meeting. Jo Kwon stated, "We feel great responsibility as ambassadors for the 2012 WCC.
