Misfortunes seem to consistently dog ZE:A, for following Kevin's forced absence from his group's promotions, member Dongjun has now revealed that there were problems with his vocal cords.
Dongjun revealed that he wasn't able to sing as well as he usually would, and that he later began feeling pain. After visiting a hospital and receiving an examination, doctors revealed that blood was welling up around his vocal cords and that he was showing signs of developing vocal cord nodules.
A representative of Star Empire stated, "Dongjun has been practicing harder than ever for this album's comeback. He has the high note part in 'Watch Out!!!', so he has been practicing constantly to pull off a perfect live, which we believe has affected his throat."
ZE:A is currently scheduled to begin their follow-up promotions on July 28th, but with Kevin absent and Dongjun facing an impediment, plans are currently up in the air.
The representative continued, "Kevin is resting, and Dongjun is visiting the hospital consistently for treatment. We asked that he hold back during rehearsals since doctors said that he cannot strain his throat. Still, he is determined to stand on stage, so he is learning how to sing without straining his voice with his vocal trainer. Their follow-up track also requires less of Dongjun, but we will have to see for now."
