Won Bin gets asked about the KARA controversy in Japan

Actor Won Bin ran into an uncomfortable situation with the press in Japan regarding KARA's recent controversy. While attending the 22nd International Jewelry Awards in Tokyo on January 26th, Won Bin was given a special award. However, during his interview, one of the reporters asked him if he was aware of the KARA controversy, catching the actor seriously off-guard with the off-topic question. Won Bin was unable to hide his perplexed and surprised expressions, and this clip has started to make the rounds on Youtube. After viewing this clip, fans are criticizing the thoughtless behavior of the Japanese reporters. Understandably though, since both Won Bin and KARA are Korean celebrities, it may seem like an acceptable question. However, because the two are totally unrelated, and have no ties whatsoever, the majority of people seem to be displeased with the line of questioning. The award that was given to Won Bin this year was given to actor Lee Byung Hun last year, and it was presented by the ex-prime minister Hatoyama Yukio's wife, Miyuki.
