A fan-made video of IU appearing in a scene from "Star Wars" has been attracting attention ever since it was first uploaded to YouTube on January 23rd.
In the video, Luke and Obi-Wan Kenobi attempted to play a holographic message left in the astromech droid, R2-D2. IU makes a sudden appearance and chirps, "Listen to 2PM's 'Heartbeat,' which features their strong performance, sure to capture the hearts of women, begin part two, part two, part two!" She even performs a comedic dance, and as if unable to hold back, bursts into laughter. Luke and Obi-Wan stare in awe without a word until the video ends.
The inserted footage is actually from her days as an internet broadcast VJ from earlier in her career.
Netizens gave an explosive response by commenting, "So amazing," "It's superb!," "I've burst out with laughter," and "IU's the best, when did you star in 'Star Wars?!'
