IU recently expressed her gratitude towards her teachers and school friends for their constant support, as well as for helping her win her first Mutizen award on SBS 'Inkigayo' last weekend.
"IU's school teachers take care of her very well, and her school friends are giving her a lot of support. They sent her a lot of food after her first place win, and IU wanted to show her gratitude for their support," revealed IU's agency.
They continued, "She's been promoting quietly up until now, so we're a bit taken aback from this sudden exposure. We would be thankful if everyone looked toward her future with a kind heart."
