Why didn't Seo In Kook perform on 'Superstar K2'?

The winner of the first season of Mnet's 'Superstar K' , Seo In Kook received an invitation to perform on Superstar K2, but it was revealed that he couldn't attend. Seo In Kook was the winner for Superstar K season 1, and even though he had success promoting his own music, he couldn't quite shed the image of 'Seo In Kook from Superstar K'. Also, despite receiving much popularity during the broadcast of Superstar K, because it was a competition largely for amateurs, the title of "amateur" stuck with him.
