Girl group Kara has recently found futher proof of their growing popularity in Japan.
On the 8th, DSP Media revealed, "According to information released by Japan's Oricon DVD & BD ranking on September 13th, 'KARA VACATION' ranked first in the weekly idol image category, and 11th overall on the combined rankings. Kara achieved the highest results for idol image BD work."
Kara actually broke the record of Haramiki Megumi's 'Beach Angels in Maui,' which was released October 22, 2008 and was ranked 13th.
Kara's BD, 'KARA VACATION,' includes a 90 minute never before seen "making of" video from Okinawa and Guam along with a collection of photographs.
