To many fans' disappointment,Son Dambi's anticipated comeback was pushed back yet again last week, but it looks like Son Dambi's anything but stepping away from the spotlight. Although she'll be spending a bit more time preparing for her return, it looks like the idol's going to be around for a while after her album promotions, as she will be participating in an upcoming drama later this year! A Pledis Entertainment rep revealed,
"Son Dambi has been busy preparing for her comeback.In order to show everyone the best production, she's putting in more effort. She also has plans to participate in a drama during the latter half of the year. We're still reviewing a drama synopsis, and are choosing between a romantic comedy, historical drama or action-based drama."As you may recall, Son Dambi ventured into the acting world with SBS Dream last year and was originally cast in Hype Nation as well; although she's still new to the acting scene, this new drama will allow the idol show everyone a new side of herself as well. As earlier reported, Son Dambi's album will be released in June, after the FIFA World Cup.It's been months and we still have yet to see Son Dambi's return to the musical stage, and there are already announcements about her post-album activities... let's hope that the wait is worth it!
