To many fans' disappointment,�Son Dambi's anticipated comeback was pushed back yet again last week, but it looks like Son Dambi's anything but stepping away from the spotlight. Although she'll be spending a bit more time preparing for her return, it looks like the idol's going to be around for a while after her album promotions, as she will be participating in an upcoming drama later this year! A Pledis Entertainment rep revealed,
"Son Dambi has been busy preparing for her comeback.�In order to show everyone the best production, she's putting in more effort. She also has plans to participate in a drama during the latter half of the year. We're still reviewing a drama synopsis, and are choosing between a romantic comedy, historical drama or action-based drama."As you may recall, Son Dambi ventured into the acting world with SBS Dream last year and was originally cast in Hype Nation as well; although she's still new to the acting scene, this new drama will allow the idol show everyone a new side of herself as well. As earlier reported, Son Dambi's album will be released in June, after the FIFA World Cup.�It's been months and we still have yet to see Son Dambi's return to the musical stage, and there are already announcements about her post-album activities... let's hope that the wait is worth it!
