SS501's leader, Kim Hyun Joong had pulled a April Fool's prank on unsuspecting fans last week, where he wrote on the fancafe that he was leaving for Spain for studies, leading many fans to fear the worst. Well, that was until they saw the line at the end of the message, "Today is April Fool's day?" Fans were still worried since there has been fervent speculation since the end of last year that Kim Hyun Joong would be going solo. To quell the fans' fears, DSP Media expressed, "It's true that Hyun Joong is heading to Spain on the 7th, but it's for a photoshoot that has already been decided earlier. That was just a April Fool's prank from Hyun Joong." They added, "Recording is currently being done for SS501's comeback album on May 1st and this will be followed by promotions in Japan, China, etc. This will be a relaxing trip and prepare him well for the upcoming schedules."
