Kim So Yeon cast in upcoming drama Prosecutor Mata Hari

Actress Kim So Yeon of IRIS has been cast as the lead in the upcoming SBS drama Prosecutor Mata Hari scheduled to air in April. The drama is already receiving lots of attention, as it will be the product of the writer-director duo (So Hyun Kyung and Jin Hyuk) behind Brilliant Legacy. Kim So Yeon will be playing the roll of Ma Hye Ri, a prosecutor with above par memorization skills which allows her to pass the bar exam. However,�when it comes to serving the right arm of justice, this character�would rather spend the time following fashion trends and buying designer duds. Regarding why she chose this interesting role, Kim So Yeon stated:

"Prosecutors are known for being rigid and detached, but the role of Ma Hye Ri totally contradicts that stereotype. I thought it would be an interesting character to portray� As the drama progresses, I hope to show the audience how she matures as a prosecutor. I am really looking forward to playing this role."
