Famous singer/ lyricst Maybee is trying her hand at acting on the upcoming MBC drama, Pink Lipstick. Maybee has stated in the past that her dream has always been to become an actor and has been taking acting lessons for quite some time. Pink Lipstick will commence filming this month and the first episode of the drama is expected to air on January 4th. Other cast members include Park Eun Hye, Dok Go Young Jae, Seo Yoo Jung, and Lee Joo Hyun. Maybee will be playing the role of a bad-tempered mother in order to shed the pure and innocent image she has been previously associated with in the past. Maybee first garnered attention when she was tapped to compose Lee Hyori's debut single "10 minutes" in 2003. Since then she has released two albums and several digital singles.
