Mate To Hold A Solo Christmas Concert

Three-member alternative rock band Mate, dubbed the next Nell by many, is set to have a solo Christmas concert. Their concert is to be held from December 23rd through December 26th at Sogang University in Seoul. Their concert is cleverly named "It's Christmas Mate" and it will be their 4th solo concert. Mate has planned to match their Christmas-themed concert by performing their own renditions of classic Christmas carols. The band has also planned to play the new songs from their album, which is planned to be released in 2010. Mate commented, "We are preparing a lot for this special concert. This Christmas, we believe that through this concert, we can give and receive happiness together with the audience." Seeing that they released their album last April, it has been a little while since Mate has been on the scene.
