Family Outing under criticism for "muddy" editing

SBS' Family Outing is once again under fire, but this time for poor editing of a game scene that took place on a tidal flat. In the most recent episode of Family Outing, which aired on December 13th and featured guests Park Jin Young (JYP) and Seo In Young, cast members engaged in a game that involved heavy wrestling in a muddy area near the ocean. The wave of criticism no pun intended came about when viewers realized that the cast members were cleaner after playing the game than before participating in the muddy event (see pictures below). In response to the criticism, a representative for the show stated in a phone conversation: "Even if the show is a real variety show, it still needs to be edited for content. It is ridiculous to think that the scene or the outcome of the game was manufactured." The representative went onto say: "In between filming, cast members may have cleaned the mud off their clothing or changed into new outfits. It's nothing out of the ordinary."
