Comedian Shin Dong Yup has been accused for the crime of fraud. De Chocolate E&TF, Shin's management company, stated today that they have notified the police of Shin's crime; he allegedly forged his contract with the company in favor of himself. This action is following a civil law suit by De Chocolate against Shin for the same contractual fraud he committed. Shin was to receive approximately $1 million from signing an exclusive contract with De Chocolate, however he forged the contract and changed the amount to $2 million. De Chocolate had sued Shin for other things as well. Shin allegedly did not report his income from other entertainment work to the company and kept it all to himself. De Chocolate has already begun to confiscate Shin's assets and is going for the rest through a law suit. Shin was once arrested and punished for usage of marijuana, which he had a hard time recovering from. Will he be able to rise up again after this time?
