Yes, that's Kim Tae Hee with a new hairstyle! It was mentioned in articles before this week's episodes that Kim Tae Hee had cut her hair short for IRIS because of storyline requirements. But no one managed to get a glimpse of her new hairstyle until Episode 8 on 5th November as the production team kept it under wraps smartly to drum up hype and anticipation. According to someone from the production team, "The short hairstyle was needed for Kim Tae Hee's character (Choi Seung Hee) advancement into another chapter, as she leaves NSS and assumes another identity." Kim Tae Hee has rarely cut her hair this short since her high school days and wearing a wig during her numerous photoshoots doesn't really count. Besides a change of hairstyles, Kim Tae Hee will also have a change of outfits. In the earlier episodes, Kim Tae Hee sported mostly simple, formal outfits. But in the latter episodes, she will be wearing casual oufits and sneakers. She will also take on more challenging action scenes, showing a much-changed Seung Hee (character's name). IRIS meanwhile set another milestone by posting it's highest rating on Thursday with 30.9%, a rise of 0.2 percentage points from it's previous record a day earlier. Looks like Kim Tae Hee's sacrifice has not been in vain as the drama continues to push forward.
