Kim Min Jung's injury slows down Hero production

We reported earlier that actress Kim Min Jung who is leading the MBC drama, Hero with Lee Junki, had been in hospital for treatment for her injured shoulder. Her being in hospital was one reason why didn't appear with Lee Junki for the drama's press conference last week. It was revealed on the 30th that Kim Min Jung's recovery from her injury is taking longer than expected, with the filming schedule for Hero now severely lagging behind time. Hero has been scheduled for a early takeover from Heading to the Ground on 11th November after the latter was cut from 20 to 17 episodes. But with Kim Min Jung still unable to resume filming, the entire production team is left waiting anxiously as there's nothing they can do but wait. The latest date that they have to resume filming would be 5th November (they have enough footage to last for the first few episodes) but with Kim Min Jung's injury, it's still early to tell if it will go as planned. Kim Min Jung has been suffering from calcified tendonitis (on her shoulders). She had sustained the injury while filming for Strike Love in April but didn't get it treated. She then aggravated the injury while training at an action school before filming for Hero. If Kim Min Jung choses to operate on her injury, recuperation will take more than three weeks, and it would be near impossible for her to return to filming on 5th November.
