Well, I figured that since it was Younha, she would probably have permission to sample the song. But I guess she didn't and who totally noticed the plagiarism? The disappointment is just rising as rumors that she actually plagiarized the song are surfacing. Specifically, her song 1, 2, 3 has a very noticeable tone and feel that matches The Jackson 5's ABC. It wasn't just 1, 2, 3 and Peace, Love & Ice Cream that were lacking originality either. Another song, Luv U Luv U Luv U strongly resembles Lady GaGa's Just Dance. Netizens are showing different sorts of reactions to the accusation of plagiarism such as people agreeing "It was made by breaking up Jackson 5's songs. The composition of the instruments are very similar." or defending Younha "It's disappointing that people are wavering over these accusations. Let's not judge them as plagiarism so hastily." Younha's company has defended the song saying "1, 2, 3, is a Korean - Japanese- Swedish work. It is neither a sampling or a remake and is an innocent composition that we have created." Good luck fooling all the viewers and trying to argue that the song is in no way plagiarism. Sorry Younha, but you just lost half of your fans' respect for you.
