I was having a major hang over the weekend of Thanksgiving, and therefore did not get a chance to properly voice out a particular object of my thankfulness then, so here it is: I am thankful for Korean men for making Asian eyes hot again. Asian kids should know what I mean: most of us are blessed with slanted, squinty eyes that are great when we are playing Mafia or poker, because no one can see our eyes and therefore cannot tell if we are lying. But that was the extent of it. Well no more. Korean men have made some excellent headway in this respect: while the Hero Jaejoong's and the Kim Hyun Joong's of the world are still hailed as the stereotypical pretty boys, and the Kyuhyun's are still rushing to the plastic surgeon's office in order to become the stereotypical pretty boys, I'm happy to report that these handsome men below are bringing sexy back with what their single-lidded ancestors gave them. Lee Junki This man is the epitome of Asian sexy for me. Like most people, I thought his delicate features wasted on a man when I first saw him in King's Man, but after the long hair and girly robes fell off, Junki's eyes became seductively flirtatious, and his entire aura transformed. Now as one of Asia's most popular actors, Junki is charming folks all over the continent with his elongated and elegant eyes. U-Know Yunho Isn't it interesting how the same eyes that look seductive on Lee Junki can look so manly on Yunho? The leader of DBSK is charisma and sexy walking around in human form, and he uses his eyes to his advantage while dancing up a storm on any stages: he manages to enrapture the audience and keep them captive for as long as he is performing. I would gladly drown in his eyes any day of the week. Rain I'll be the first to admit that Rain isn't very impressive in pictures, but something about his eyes when paired with that boyish smile just makes one want to go, AWWWW. This man is really much more attractive when he is not grabbing at his crotch or trying too hard to be cool. Just keep up the puppy dog smile and I'm sure fangirls could care less about his Engrish and even the latest venture into Korinese. Son Ho Young Oh those beautiful half-moon eyes! I wonder if anyone is capable of being angry at him. He looks just like an extremely hot version of boy next door, except when he opens his mouth and belts out those high notes with as much ease as drinking a glass of water. He is definitely not your typical ex-boyband pretty boy. Micky Yoochun Oh Mickey, you are so fine. You are so fine you blow my mind. Hey Mickey. Hey Mickey. That incredibly addictive song says it better than I will ever be able to. Micky you really do blow my mind. This may be an excuse of a post to goggle at gorgeous men, but nevertheless I hope it inspires you to rock what you've got. Take it upon yourselves to make Asian the new sexy, alright?
