Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi and Korean actor So Ji Sub will be starring together in a Chinese-South Korean co-production. The romantic comedy is being developed by CJ Entertainment and another production firm owned by Zhang.
The romantic comedy is titled, “Sophie’s Revenge,” and is on a projected budget of $2 to $3 million, and is expected to be released next year some time.
So Ji Sup starred in the KBS tearjerker, “I’m Sorry I Love You,” in 2004 and the SBS series, “What Happened in Bali” in the same year. Zhang has previously appeared in two Korean movies, “Musa The Warrior” (2001) and “My Wife Is a Gangster 2” (2003).
