ChoA's rumored marriage is the true reason behind her potential departure from AOA?

ChoA is rumored to be getting married.

On June 22, ChoA announced her departure from AOA. However, her label FNC Entertainment stated that her departure from the group is not yet confirmed.

In midst of the differing statements, marriage rumors about ChoA are also circulating. Following the departure news, ChoA's fan page Straight Smiles shared several photos of the idol star and claimed that she has been spotted wearing a wedding ring.

The fan page also claimed that media outlet Sports Seoul will be releasing ChoA's marriage news tomorrow.

Some netizens have also assumed that a lover is the real reason behind ChoA's departure. In fact, ChoA was involved in dating rumors with the director of Najin Corporation last month. Meanwhile, some compared ChoA's situation with former Girls' Generation's member Jessica, who left the group and joined hands with her boyfriend Tyler Kwon.

Dude, Jessica left the group after the completion of her contract, people should stop giving her crap about that. After a contract is finished, anyone should have the option and choice of choosing not to renew, and if they choose not to renew, they shouldn't be harassed and given crap about it at every given opportunity simply because they wanted a different life.

Apparently she discussed it with and got permission from the CEO but it didn't get communicated to the PR department or HR or whatever. Although, it's debatable whether or not it's her choice when it's her mental health that's forcing her to take this step.

She did leave. she was given 2 option, finish up with GG and stop her business for now or leave GG for her business. She was dreaming to think SM will not give her a hard time for having 2 jobs at once. Ultimately she said she picked her business because she already signed her contract with her business partner and would have to pay lots of money for breaking it. But wow business partner is her bf. So... Regardless I support both sica and GG but don't say it's not her choice because it was.

No, she clearly stated that she woke up and saw articles that she has been kicked. She asked the members if they were okay with her doing the company. She even talked to SM about it and she got both agreement. Next morning, SM kicked her without her knowing.

Am I the only one that's noticed how unhappy ChoA has been for the past two years though? Like all this news aside, it really showed and it matches part of the statement. Who cares about the marriage, that's a separate thing and it' sad how people are speculating she decided to leave bc of that, and even so, who cares. Ever since AOA suffered their controversies, they haven't been the same and it's noticeable that ChoA has been unhappy through all that time too. Remember these are rumours and speculations. Don't be one of those people that think, "really? Wow, what a whore/slut/backstabber." If any of you think this way, I will pray for you bc even if it is true, who would EVER want to say that about someone who's found love/happiness. You guys are no better than radical K-Netz that say malicious things.

I must say it would be pretty hardcore behaviour of her to leave a group because of "depression and insomnia" if it was actually just for a man. You don't really come out and say you suffer from depression as just as an excuse, do you?

well she can always say she was depressed and couldnt sleep because she couldn't marry him or go solo. i dont really believe its primarily depression and insomnia for her leaving btw, i think that is just a public excuse. like she can't really say i want to get married or go solo, it has to be some issue so the public is sympathetic.

ChoA has actually appeared unhappy during performances ever since 2015 though. I saw her live that year and noticed it. She hasn't been the same since AOA's "peak" years so I think it's true.

Wtf how does this relate to Jessica? She did not leave GG to be with her boyfriend. There's a big debate whether Jessica was kicked or she left. In my opinion, she was kicked because SM think she wont be committed to GG and that she is going to use GG to promote her company, BLANC N ECLARE.

if she's getting married i wish she would've mentioned it in her instagram post. people are going to find out anyway, right?there are plenty enough people already not taking mental health issues seriously and if it turns out she's getting married now it's gonna look bad for not only her but every other idol who comes out with similar problems. if an idol needs a break due to those issues people are just going to assume it's a lie and they are doing it for personal reasons. sucks for everyone.

I'm not saying she can't, but a lot of k-netz feel betrayed by her and her new hubby. They kept their pregnancy in actve denial and the anxiety disorder/depression was made in to a cover shield (According to k-netz). the public isn't going to believe any idol anytime soon when they want to halt activities due to mental stress. Just look at all the comments saying she's pregnant or going to get married

yeah to be completely honest I lost a bit respect for soyul. I wish she could've been truthful or at least not aggressively deny the rumours. did she really think no one would find out? I strongly believe the response would've been better if she was at least a little more honest but who knows. I don't know enough about the industry to really start pointing fingers. and some fans are truly delusional.

Why on earth would she tell people that she's got a depression while she's actually getting married? Though I'm no Korean, I think that most Koreans would say that a depression is much worse compared to getting married (which, overall, is considered to be a happy thing, right?). Besides that, if she does get married, aren't we all going to find out anyway? Seriously...
