Girls' Generation's Seohyun has been confirmed as the lead of new MBC weekend drama 'Thief, Mr. Thief'.
'Thief, Mr. Thief' will be Seohyun's first weekend drama role if she's cast. The story centers on thieves who strike against people in high power who try to control Korea. It is written by Son Young Mok and Cha Yi Young, and produced by Oh Kyung Hoon. It will have 50 episodes.

Seohyun will play the lead female role Kang So Ju, a policewoman who is full of a sense of justice. She's a warm policewoman who puts protecting the weak first and foremost.
The drama will start airing in May.
