Ever since Se7en's adult massage parlor controversy in 2013, the singer continues to receive backlash from the public until this day.

He addressed this issue during the press conference for his new album 'I AM Se7en' on October 13. Se7en stated, "I know people are not looking at me pleasantly, and I've also been reading all the comments. I tend to keep in mind the helpful words and ignore the ones that are ridiculous. I don't get hurt from them."

Se7en also spoke about the letter he recently shared on Instagram regarding the past controversy and said, "I thought that people will eventually come to a realization if I take time to reflect instead of trying to explain the misunderstanding. Recently, I wrote a letter of explanation on SNS. At first, I thought it would be meaningless. I didn't see the reason to speak up and explain myself when I am truly spending time reflecting back on myself. I thought people will believe me and eventually understand me, but I realized that it's hard to change everyone's mind. That's why I uploaded the letter."

Unfortunately, the letter seems to have little to no effect in changing the public's negativity toward Se7en. Do you think he deserves such harsh criticism?

SE7EN was *not* married. He was punished (JAIL for 7 days) by the S.K MILITARY. (Past long time GF) PARK HAN BYUL has moved on now. SE7EN should be allowed to move on too. Time to bury all of this as OLD NEWS.

nami_chan Thursday, October 13, 2016

well sadly netizens don't forget easily even if he apologize or not ..

charlie_d Thursday, October 13, 2016

I don't even remember what happened LOL

hiroonakamura Thursday, October 13, 2016

people in korea are the biggest hypocrites around. they will have lots of flaws themselves, but if a celebrity does something stupid they will hate them forever. Hell, they'll even hate the celebrity even if the celeb gets proven innocent.worst type of fans I've ever seen. Celebs should just say "fuck you" to these netizens and audiences and ignore them.

nami_chan hiroonakamura Thursday, October 13, 2016

true

Al3xacat hiroonakamura Friday, October 14, 2016

Korean celebrities should focus in Latin America audiences, we see their soap operas and know some of their songs.. latins we are more loving ❤️️❤️️❤️️ We know how to forget and forgive haha

k_kid hiroonakamura Friday, October 14, 2016

This is people in general. Not just in Korea. *People* will find flaws in everyone else except themselves.

youcangoeatshit k_kid Friday, October 14, 2016

I am sure if you do some sociological research on Korea, you will realise why that person only targetted Korea and not people in general.

k_kid youcangoeatshit Friday, October 14, 2016

This also happens plentifully in the US as well.

youcangoeatshit k_kid Friday, October 14, 2016

Yes it happens everywhere, I think what hiroonakamura mentions is that they differ. Do not forget that the US and Korea have different cultures.

kizaru_hijin hiroonakamura Sunday, October 16, 2016

if all koreans were like that, then every celebrity who ever made a small mistake wouldnt be able to get back into this business again...its just pathetic and jealous hating piece of shits and these ppl are everywhere in this world, not just in one country...

youcangoeatshit kizaru_hijin Sunday, October 16, 2016

Like I mentioned earlier, it's more than that. You have to understand things from a deeper perspective on human social behaviour

kizaru_hijin youcangoeatshit Monday, October 17, 2016

that has absolutely nothing to do with "deeper perspective", every country has such ppl, stop trying to say its just south korea who has such haters...when the internet proves every single day, that there are pathetic and retarded haters everywhere.

youcangoeatshit kizaru_hijin Monday, October 17, 2016

Like I said before it happens everywhere. I'm not going to stop and never will for now. South Koreans are sociologically and psychologically engineered in their own specific way. Go and do your own academic research if you are at university about this. Unless you are still too young for it then wait until you get there. If not that's too bad. Also it's never really about EVERY SINGLE KOREAN.

kizaru_hijin youcangoeatshit Monday, October 17, 2016

so you learn about haters at an university?...

kizaru_hijin youcangoeatshit Monday, October 17, 2016

ok, now its getting pathetic, are you just another racist who tries to hate on south korea or why are you even arguing here, about me saying that there are haters everywhere?

youcangoeatshit kizaru_hijin Monday, October 17, 2016

YOU are the pathetic one. No one is being racist here. YOU are being the shallow one here. YOU are the one putting a blatant convenient statement that haters are everywhere and that is not even the point of beginning this post to begin with. YOU were not reading to begin with. YOU didn't even bother to understand why people accuse these type of unforgiving citizens for being hypocrites here. YOU, who allowed your own emotions to over your own being, accused me of being racist without ever realising that your own intelligence is at stake. Stop. Just stop embarrassing yourself. Oh yeah grow up too. It helps if you can be more critical instead of coming to conclusions without even thinking through.

kizaru_hijin youcangoeatshit Tuesday, October 18, 2016

wow, i didnt think you can get even more pathetic...your life sure must suck hard, that you desperately want to show how smart you are on the internet, while failing hard at it...and unlike you, i did read everything from the beginning, i wasnt even replying to you, but guess thats just another thing you didnt understand...

youcangoeatshit kizaru_hijin Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Speak for yourself. I have no desperation. So if you read everything from the beginning and yet you still catch no balls, then nobody can help you for being born stupid. Obviously you didn't reply to me. I WAS THE ONE WHO RESPONDED TO YOUR COMMENT. STUPID! Please don't try to outsmart me. Your lack of intellect and logic is cancerous. Take your time to grow up kiddo.

kizaru_hijin youcangoeatshit Thursday, October 20, 2016

yes you replied to me with some bullshit, that doesnt even make sense...someone said something about korean haters, i said such haters are everywhere and you want to argue against that and got butthurt, as if there are only such stupid ppl in korea, showing that youre just another pathetic racist scum, and you are so pathetic that you even made an account on a kpop site just to hate around...its always cute how such retarded trash tries too hard to act smart, while having no clue what youre talking about...truly a stupid and worthless piece of shit.

RoAnon9935 Thursday, October 13, 2016

Guys are going to do what they are going to do to relive themselves. If he was actually looking for a massage and went to the wrong place it happens. If it was for the other thing, well ew nasty, but so long as it's consenting each their own. Let idols date in peace with out dragging out to the slaughter for doing so, and stop destroying their career over false accusations of rape so they can approach woman who aren't in industry then we can bitch about them visiting places.

SahanaE RoAnon9935 Thursday, October 13, 2016

Even if they were consenting, it's still wrong because at the time he had a girlfriend.

RoAnon9935 SahanaE Thursday, October 13, 2016

I didn't realize that. Really hope he was looking for the legal kind.

shakennotstirred Thursday, October 13, 2016

Coz he didn't properly apologize, he just kind of hid himself. So I am not surprised people still hate on him.

shakennotstirred Thursday, October 13, 2016

during the time it happened*

NoonaVip Thursday, October 13, 2016

So people are still mad he went to a place to get some mushu? Lol

Go get a life!!!

BakaKaori Thursday, October 13, 2016

I don't think he should get all this hate. Especially when I hear it's not uncommon for men in Korea to visits those types of places. Anyways, I hope to see him doing well in the future!

k_kid BakaKaori Thursday, October 13, 2016

But he should already have known that you get criticized 100 times more for being a public figure.

SahanaE BakaKaori Thursday, October 13, 2016

He had a girlfriend at the time and also he broke military rules which is a big deal.

BakaKaori SahanaE Thursday, October 13, 2016

I understand breaking military rules is a HUGE deal. But I'm sure there have been many public figures (with girlfriends) who have visited those places. He gets all the hate for getting caught.

leann1983 Thursday, October 13, 2016

I think se7en is a good person. I'm sick od people criticizing celebrities that go through bad or things. When you go through bad things you want people to understand you and forgive you but you cant forgive others. Grow up!!! Fighting Se7en!!!!
