
On May 1 KST, the 7th criminal division of the Seoul Western District Court sentenced rapper Sik-K to 10 years in prison, deferred by a probationary period of 2 years, for abusing illegal drugs.
The court concluded on this day, "The defendant abused illegal drugs multiple times, not to mention he is a public figure with significant influence on the public. However, it was also noted that he is deeply reflecting on his actions, and he turned himself in for possession of illegal drugs."
Previously, Sik-K visited a police station in Yongsan-gun, Seoul, and turned himself in for possession and abuse of illegal drugs. Upon investigation, the police found that Sik-K used drugs such as ketamine and ecstasy in October of 2023, and the drug marijuana in January of 2024.
