During the September 23 showcase for their first studio album 'Evolution Pop Vol.1,' Crayon Pop confessed that they don't expect much with their new song "DooDoomChit."

Well, at least not as big an expectation as "Bar Bar Bar." Soyul said, "We don't expect ['DooDoomChit'] to be as successful as 'Bar Bar bar.' We just hope that it will enter the music charts." ChoA also added, "We try not to rely too much on the song's performance [on charts and music programs]. I just hope that a lot of people will hear it on the streets and sing along."

Crayon Pop also named what is unique about them, saying, "We have our unique color. If we just showcase that, then I think many people will be left with a favorable impression."

You can catch Crayon Pop's new album when it drops this coming September 26!

Honestly I pity their situation. They literally were trending worldwide with Bar Bar Bar and now they're not doing as well. It's kind of sad when I hear stuff like 'if you get famous overnight you either become EXID or Crayon Pop', and I'm not even a fan.

i think this is their last chance. they are already doing worse and worse after each comeback since bar bar bar.

Can't wait. FM was a fave. I think they're a lot like a female version of DEVO

BarBarBar greatly surpassed the expectations of the small company and they know that does not come easily a 2nd time. Though they don't expect another "phenomenon", it seems they have reasonably high hopes. Headline is misleading. Article starts with "Well, at least not as..." Please don't put words in the mouths of Ways Girls, you know why.

good luck CP, fighting!

That's a realistic attitude. Better keep your expectations low. Then you won't be disappointed, but you might get pleasantly surprised.

I don't know. I mean, I get being humble and reasonable about expectations in the music industry- but this seems like chopping off your nose to spite your face. Why immediately downplay your new music before it's really been received by the public? It's almost like saying "Well yeah, it's okay, we like it enough, so you know, whatever." I'm sure they didn't mean it like that, and were trying to stay humble about their first hit, but it just seems a bit premature to do.
