According to DongA on June 29, HyunA is preparing to return with a solo album in August. It is also stated that she is currently in the process of choosing a title song for her new album, and her goal is to make a comeback before the end of summer. The last time HyunA greeted fans with a solo album was in August of 2015 with 'A+'.

Meanwhile, 4minute have recently disbanded, and HyunA has renewed her contract with Cube Entertainment as a solo artist.
