Hyeri confirmed her role on the upcoming drama 'Ddanddara'.
On March 21, Dream Entertainment confirmed that Hyeri will be playing the main female character Jung Gurin in 'Ddanddara'. Jung Gurin is a passionate young lady who gave up college to look after her younger brother in a band.

Producers of 'Ddanddara' announced, "We think the bright and friendly Hyeri is perfect for the 'Jung Gurin' character. She will portray the passionate and young energy of a girl in her 20's." Hyeri also shared a comment on her new role as she said, "I will try my best to express Jung Gurin's charming character to the viewers."
Currently Hyeri is recovering from encephalomeningitis, and is looking over the script at home. Meanwhile, Ji Sung also confirmed his role in 'Ddanddara'. The two stars will work together for the new drama, which will start airing on April 20.
